Alessio Alexiadis

Dr. Alessio Alexiadis is a Reader in Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham, specializing in mathematical modeling and physics-informed machine learning. He holds a PhD from Politecnico di Torino (2001) and has held academic positions across 11 institutions in 8 countries. His research focuses on particle methods (MD/DEM/SPH), multiphase flows, and interdisciplinary applications in materials science, biomedical engineering, and environmental modeling.
