Alessandro Scarsella is an Associate Professor at the Department of Comparative Linguistic and Cultural Studies (DSLCC) at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. He specializes in Literary Criticism and Comparative Literature (SSD COMP-01/A). His roles include representing DSLCC in the Linguistic Area Library Council (BALI), serving as an Effective Representative of the Single University Guarantee Committee (CUG), and acting as Libraries Contact Person.
His research focuses on comparative literary studies, translation theory, history of books, and the intersection of literature with visual arts and globalization.
