Alessandro Astolfi is a Professor of Nonlinear Control Theory at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London (since 2005), and concurrently a Professor at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He holds affiliations with the Control and Power Research Group, Energy Futures Lab, Robotics Forum, and the Department of Electronics and Information at Politecnico di Milano. His research focuses on nonlinear control theory, mechanical systems, and applications in electromechanical and power systems.
