Alessandra Swiny is a Professor at the Department of Architecture, University of Nicosia (Cyprus), tenured since 2005. She previously held an Adjunct Assistant Professor role at Barnard/Columbia Colleges (2011). Her expertise spans architecture education, urban design, and emergency architecture, emphasizing sustainability and cultural context.

Research & Projects: Focuses on urban-scale interventions, emergency architecture, and architectural pedagogy.
