Alessandra MORI is an Associate Professor in Zoology at the University of Parma since 1998, affiliated with the Department of Chemical, Life and Environmental Sustainability Sciences. She has taught courses in Invertebrate Zoology and Animal Behavior across undergraduate and graduate programs, including the Science Master Degree in Nature Conservation.
Her research focuses on Ethology and Ant Ecology, investigating aggressive behavior, parental care, reproductive biology, predation, competition, raiding behavior, and recognition systems in Formicidae. Recent work includes studies on environmental quality assessment and behavioral adaptations in invasive species like Tetramorium immigrans.

She has participated in academic governance, including roles in PhD programs and scientific committees, and is affiliated with the Italian Zoological Union (UZI), Italian Society of Ethology (SIE), and AISASP (Italian Section of IUSSI).
