Aleksandra Đukić is a Full Professor in the Department of Urban Planning at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Architecture, focusing on urban design, urban morphology, and urban renewal. She holds a PhD from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade, and trained in Israel under the MASHAV scholarship program.
- Research Interests: Urban design, urban morphology, urban renewal, climate change, and sustainable housing.
- Projects: Coordinating international initiatives such as INTERREG Danube (DANURB+), Erasmus+ (Creative Danube), and COST Action (CA 18204). Leading national project TP36035 on urban development and climate change.
- Awards: Recognized with the 2018 Emerald award, best works at Tokyo and Warsaw world congresses, and the 2019 Ministry of European Integration award for the INTERREG D ANUrB project.
- Leadership: Co-founder of Urban Laboratory Belgrade and the Places and Technologies conference. Vice President of the Association of Urban Planners of Serbia and representative in ECTP-CEU’s General Assembly.
- Publications: Authored over 200 papers and four monographs, including topics on declining cities, climate change, and urban regeneration.
