Aleksandra Torbica is an Associate Professor at the Department of Social and Political Sciences at Bocconi University, specializing in Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment (HTA). She has been a key collaborator with SDA Bocconi since 2002 and previously served as Director of the Center for Research on Health and Social Care Management (CERGAS) until 2022.
Her research focuses on the intersection of global health policy, health economics, and healthcare management, with expertise in healthcare financing systems, governance, and the use of real-world data to inform decision-making. She has contributed to high-impact journals like Social Science & Medicine and Value in Health, addressing topics such as digital health interventions, pandemic preparedness, and healthy ageing.
