Aleksandra Piletić is a Lecturer in International Political Economy at King's College London, based in the Department of European & International Studies within the School of Politics & Economics. Her research focuses on neoliberalism's post-2008 crisis mutations, platform capitalism, authoritarian spatial practices, and renewable energy policy. She holds a PhD from the Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam (2020) and conducted postdoctoral research on the ERC-funded Platform Labor Project at the University of Amsterdam.

Her research explores how neoliberalism adapts through digital platforms and state coercion, particularly in urban and energy sectors. Recent work examines small hydropower projects in Serbia as cases of EU-driven authoritarian neoliberalization. She combines political economy and economic geography approaches to analyze institutional hybridization and spatial power dynamics.
Teaching includes courses on the European Union's global capitalist relations and migration's political economy. Office hours are Tuesdays 11-12 and Thursdays 14-15.
Her publications appear in Review of International Political Economy, Globalizations, and Environment and Planning A, addressing topics ranging from platform capitalism's institutional impacts to urban neoliberal entrenchment strategies.
