Aleksandra Bulatović

Aleksandra Bulatović is an Associate Research Professor at the Institute of Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade. She holds an SJD degree from the University of Belgrade's Law Faculty and a master’s degree from Central European University.

Her research focuses on non-conventional soft security, human rights theories, applied ethics in security sectors, and the interplay between philosophical practice and collective well-being. She specializes in balancing repressive and non-repressive models in organized crime policy, civil society collaboration, and social policy integration with criminal justice systems.

Recent work includes studies on AI-driven recommender algorithms, feminist security approaches, and the sociology of black economies. Her publications align with interdisciplinary themes in Computer Science, Security Studies, and Social Policy.

She is affiliated with the Institute's research labs, including [DigiLab] Digital Society Lab and [ActiveLab] Laboratory for Active Citizenship and Democratic Innovations.
