Aleksandra Anić serves as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade, where she has been employed since 2011 after completing all academic degrees at the institution. She earned her PhD in 2019 with a dissertation analyzing women's labor participation, gender pay gaps, and unemployment dynamics in Serbia through econometric methods.

Anić specializes in labor market analysis with emphasis on gender disparities, child poverty determinants, and fiscal policy impacts. She frequently utilizes econometric modeling to address socioeconomic inequality.
