Aleksandar Karadimce is a Researcher and Teaching Assistant at the University of Information Science and Technology 'St. Paul the Apostle' in Ohrid, Macedonia. He participated in a Short-Term Scientific Mission (STSM) from 12/3/2018 to 10/4/2018 at the University Science Park (ERAdiate) under COST Action CA15212.
- Collaborated with UNIZA Faculty of Electrical Engineering and ERAdiate researchers.
- Contributed to the H2020 MoTiV project by refining its conceptual framework and mobile application requirements.
His research focuses on Quality of Experience (QoE) in multimedia content delivery, with applications in mobile cloud services and smart mobile domains. This includes developing QoE indicators tied to user factors like interactivity, service complexity, and multimedia intensity.
The Bayesian Network Model for Estimating User Satisfaction (2017) exemplifies his work in QoE standardization and interoperability, aligning with COST Action CA15212's objectives. His research trends emphasize integrating data standardization and user perception models into emerging domains like intelligent transport systems.
Aleksandar has received grants for his work, including the QoE-NET Summer Research School (2016) and an ITC Conference Grant for presenting at MoMM2017. These opportunities supported his contributions to multimedia cloud services and QoE refinement.
His collaborations extend to the MoTiV project, where he provided insights into mobility and behavioral experience data collection, and engagement with COST Actions like QUALINET and ACROSS. Future work aims to apply his QoE expertise to travel experience assessment in intelligent transport systems.
