Alejandra Crosta is a Lecturer in Spanish at St Catherine's College, University of Oxford, specializing in translation, Latin American literature, film, and language pedagogy. She holds affiliations with the Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages and served as Research Assistant for the European Humanities Research Centre, organizing interdisciplinary events. Her work emphasizes translation in the performing arts and intellectual property rights.
Her research focuses on gender representation in Latin American cinema, feminist activism in graphic novels, and the intersection of poetry and cultural policy. Notable publications include bilingual poetry collections and translations of academic texts on labor rights in performance sectors. She has received the Humanities Division Excellence Award twice (2018, 2023).
