معرفی
Albinas Andriušis serves as a Lecturer at Vytautas Magnus University's Faculty of Engineering within the Department of Mechanical, Energy and Biotechnology Engineering. He maintains strong institutional connections with the Agriculture Academy (58 recorded activities) and joined the Bioeconomy Research Institute in September 2024. His academic appointment in the Mechanical Engineering Department began in September 2021.
Dr. Andriušis's research spans multiple mechanical engineering domains with particular emphasis on tribology and practical applications. His work focuses on:
- Friction and resistance measurement methodologies
- Bearing technology analysis and testing
- Electroimpulse metallurgy applications
- Grinding processes in agricultural contexts
- Development of specialized research equipment for tribological testing
His publication record shows consistent progression in bearing technology research, evolving from modifying existing SMC-2 rigs to developing specialized measurement systems. The research trajectory examines how rotational frequency, load magnitude, lubrication methods, and temperature affect bearing resistance under various conditions. His work bridges theoretical mechanical engineering with practical agricultural machinery applications, particularly in optimizing energy efficiency through reduced friction.
Dr. Andriušis has supervised five bachelor's theses between 2020-2023:
- Ignas Stukas (2023): Modification of sliding-reversible motion research device
- Ignas Mamavičius (2022): Device for radial bearings resistance research
- Kasparas Novogrodskis (2021): Deep-groove ball bearing resistance testing device
- Marius Adomauskas (2020): SMC-2 rig modification for radial-axial ball bearing research
- Karolis Pletkus (2020): SMC-2 rig modification for radial ball bearing research
With native proficiency in Lithuanian, very good command of Russian and German, and good English skills, Dr. Andriušis is positioned for international collaboration. His research contributes significantly to understanding mechanical resistance in agricultural equipment, with implications for energy conservation and environmental sustainability in farming operations.
