Alberto Gomez Marmol

Alberto Gomez Marmol is an Associate Professor at the Department of Artistic, Musical and Body Expression within the Faculty of Education at the University of Murcia. His research focuses on physical activity, educational values, and social responsibility in schools. He holds a doctoral degree from the University of Murcia, completing his thesis on 'La responsabilidad personal y social, la actividad física y la educación en valores de los escolares de la Región de Murcia' in 2014, supervised by Dr. Alfonso Valero Valenzuela, Dr. Ernesto de la Cruz Sánchez, and Dr. Juan José García-Pellicer.

He is a member of the SAFE research group (Health, Physical Activity and Education) and previously contributed to the UMUSPORT group. His work integrates health promotion strategies with educational practices, emphasizing the role of physical activity in fostering social and personal values among students.
