She holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science (UQÀM/Paris 8), a Master’s in Political Analysis (Paris 8), and a post-master’s in Digital Humanities (Paris 8). Her research focuses on memes, both online and offline, examining their transhistorical logics through playful experiments and research-creation practices. She explores memetic flows across analog and digital interfaces, connecting 19th-century parlor games to contemporary TikTok challenges and AI-generated content.
Her work emphasizes meme archaeology, queer archiving, and critical engagements with digital capitalism. She is affiliated with the Artefact Lab and Hexagram network, and administers the Instagram page @montreal.affirmations. Recent publications include analyses of pre-industrial sleep culture and cyberfeminist interventions.
Teaching responsibilities include courses such as COM1600 (Introduction to Media Studies) and COM2215 (Mobile Culture). Her projects, like @itsamemeworld, blend historical and digital media to reimagine utopian and dystopian narratives.
