Albert Wu is the Fred & Juliet Soper Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, with joint appointments in Epidemiology and International Health. He directs the Center for Health Services and Outcomes Research (CHSOR) and co-founded the RISE (Resilience in Stressful Events) peer support program. His career spans over three decades in patient safety, quality of care, and patient-reported outcomes, including developing the MOS-HIV Health Survey for assessing quality of life in HIV populations.

Research Focus: Dr. Wu pioneered the "second victim" concept in medical errors, emphasizing provider support post-incident.
