Albert Manke is a Research Fellow at the Department of Humanities, Ca' Foscari University of Venice, and a Senior Fellow at the Institute of European Studies, University of California, Berkeley. He specializes in Latin American history, focusing on gender, resistance, and mobility within global contexts.

Research interests include entangled histories of resistance, transregional migration, and gender dynamics in revolutionary movements. His work explores Cuban revolutionary militias and Chinese migrant experiences in the Americas.
