Alasdair Young is a Professor and Neal Family Chair at the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, Georgia Institute of Technology. He serves as Interim Associate Dean for Faculty Development in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts and directs the Center for International Strategy, Technology, and Policy. As a Jean Monnet Chair (2012-2015) and recipient of the Ivan Allen College Distinguished Researcher Award (2015), Young is a leading scholar in EU policy and transatlantic relations.

Recent publications highlight digital economy governance (2024), taxation of digital services (2024), and transatlantic trade dynamics (2023-2024). He has performed consultancy work for the US/UK governments and European Commission.
