Professor Alan Wong is a leading researcher in early fault detection technology for electrical infrastructure and founder/CEO of IND Technology, a startup commercializing EFD technology. He holds a professorial role at RMIT University's School of Engineering, leading the High Voltage Research and Teaching Laboratory. His expertise spans electrical engineering, with a focus on power system reliability, smart sensors, and nanocomposite materials. He has over 15 years of academic and industry experience, including program leadership for RMIT's Electrical Engineering degrees. Awards include the Clunies Ross Award (2021) and RMIT Vice-Chancellor's Research Impact Award (2021).
