Alan Mislove

Alan Mislove is a Professor of Computer Science at Northeastern University and serves as Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Interim Executive Director of the Institute of Experiential Artificial Intelligence (EAI). His research focuses on algorithmic auditing, cybersecurity, and privacy, particularly examining real-world systems like social media platforms and advertising algorithms. He has testified before Congress, advised the White House on AI policy, and led investigations into algorithmic discrimination and privacy violations.
