Alan Love is a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Minnesota, affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts. He serves as Director of the Minnesota Center for Philosophy of Science and focuses on conceptual issues in biological sciences, particularly evolutionary developmental biology (Evo-devo), developmental biology, and molecular biology. His work explores philosophical questions related to conceptual change, explanatory pluralism, reductionism, and interdisciplinary epistemology.
