Dr. Alan L. Smith is a Professor of Kinesiology and Health Science and currently serves as Dean of the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services at Utah State University. He is a Faculty Partner at the Families in Sport Lab, where he investigates the psychological and social impacts of sport and physical activity on youth development. His work spans peer relationships in physical education, motivational dynamics in sports, and interdisciplinary research on physical activity as an intervention for ADHD in children.
