- Education: PhD (2009), MSc (2003), BSc (1985)
Research interests include developing MAS architectures where agents collaborate/compete to achieve collective goals, inspired by natural systems like neural networks. Current work explores stakeholder search applications in land-use planning and conflict resolution. His publications span ethical computing, academic scholarship frameworks, and fault-tolerant agent systems. He advocates for sustainable urban mobility through his board role at Bike Calgary.
Publications emphasize AI ethics, stakeholder-driven problem-solving, and MAS fault tolerance. Teaching focuses on bridging theory and practical skills in computing education. Professional service includes promoting cycling advocacy and community-based disaster research through Mount Royal's institutes.
