Alan Davies

Alan Davies is a Senior Lecturer in Health Data Sciences at the University of Manchester, affiliated with the Division of Informatics, Imaging & Data Sciences within the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health. His work bridges computer science and healthcare, focusing on technology applications like mobile health apps and genomic medicine. He holds roles such as Programme Director for the Clinical Data Science programme and has led pioneering online education initiatives, including the first MOOC in Clinical Bioinformatics with over 18,000 participants.
