Alan C Seifert

Alan C Seifert is an Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, affiliated with the Department of Diagnostic, Molecular and Interventional Radiology and the Artificial Intelligence and Human Health program. His research focuses on developing solid-state MRI methods like UTE and ZTE for myelin quantification, MRI-histology integration for neuropathology, and ultra-high-field (7T) MRI for spinal cord/brainstem imaging. He holds a BS from Johns Hopkins University, a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, and completed postdoctoral training at Mount Sinai. Notable awards include the 2019 ISMRM Junior Fellowship and 2017 NINDS Career Development Award. His office is located at Hess CSM Building, Room S1-115, New York.
