Alaina Brenick is Associate Professor in Human Development and Family Sciences at UConn. Holds PhD from University of Maryland, College Park and postdoctoral fellowship from Friedrich Schiller Universität Jena.
Research investigates intergroup relations in conflict zones, bias-based victimization experiences, and anti-bias intervention effectiveness. Develops culturally responsive programs to reduce prejudice among youth in contexts like Israel-Palestine. Examines reasoning about systemic inequities and allyship development.
