Alain Diaz

Alain Diaz is a Senior Lecturer at Otis College of Art and Design’s School of Toy Design, with over two decades of experience in the toy industry. As a self-taught master sculptor, he transitioned from classical sculpting to digital 3D modeling, establishing a successful freelance career. Through his company AlainDesign, he specializes in transforming 2D conceptual drawings into 3D digital models and rapid prototyping for major toy developers and manufacturers. His works are featured in global department stores and exclusively at Disney Stores and Disney Parks’ Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. Diaz actively shares professional techniques through his YouTube channel and Instagram account @alaindiazdesigns.
