Akwi W. Asombang

Dr. Akwi W. Asombang is an interventional gastroenterologist at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and a faculty member at Harvard Medical School. She serves as the Director of Global Health Programs in Gastroenterology at MGH, focusing on advancing gastrointestinal care and research in African communities.

Her research interests span endoscopy techniques (ERCP/EUS), gastrointestinal cancers, medical education, and global health.
