Aklilu Alemu is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Animal and Poultry Science, University of Manitoba since 2021, and works at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's Swift Current Research and Development Center. His research focuses on improving animal production efficiency while minimizing environmental impacts, particularly in beef cattle systems and forage management.
