Akhil Sharma is the Adele Schiff Professor of the Practice in the Department of English at Duke University's Trinity College of Arts & Sciences. He has held this position since 2020 and also serves as Professor of the Practice of English. Sharma teaches courses such as Introduction to Creative Writing and Introduction to the Writing of Fiction.
