Akanni McDowall is a Doctoral Researcher at the Centre for Decent Work within the Sheffield University Management School. His research focuses on digital technology adoption in trade unions, particularly in the Caribbean context, aiming to enhance member services and attract younger generations. He investigates drivers and barriers to technological integration in labor movements while contributing to workforce policy development.
