Akaj Klippel

Prof. Akaj Klippel is a Personal Professor at Wageningen University & Research's Department of Cultural Geography. He holds a master's degree in physical geography from the University of Trier and a Ph.D. in Informatics and Mathematics from the University of Bremen. Previously, he was a professor at Penn State University and directed the Center for Immersive Experiences. His research focuses on immersive technologies (XR, VR), spatial cognition, and geovisualization applications in fields like environmental science, public health, and education.
