Aisling Healy

Aisling Healy is a Lecturer in Political Science at the University of Saint-Etienne since 2010, affiliated with the Triangle laboratory (UMR 5206). She holds a PhD in Political Science from IEP de Lyon (2007) and conducted postdoctoral research at CNRS (2007-2008). Her work focuses on urban governance, migration policies, and transnational city networks, with notable contributions to understanding how cities negotiate migration crises through network engagement and narrative construction. She has been awarded the Young Researcher Award from Lyon (2008) and has published extensively on topics including metropolitan governance, urban narratives, and decentralization. Key works include co-edited volumes on migration governance and city narratives, and research on Lyon's economic development strategies. She collaborates with institutions like Eurocities and contributes to comparative studies on urban policy frameworks.
