Dr. Aile Möldre is Associate Professor at Tallinn University's School of Digital Technologies and Senior Research Fellow, specializing in 20th-century book history and contemporary publishing. She earned her PhD from Tallinn University in 2005 with the dissertation 'Publishing and Book Distribution in Estonia 1940-2000'.
Her research examines book history, translation practices, digital publishing, and minority-language publications. She received the Puksoo Prize (2006) for contributions to Estonian book culture. Current work includes the project 'Translation in History, Estonia 1850-2010' supported by Estonian Research Council.
Publications analyze historical and contemporary publishing ecosystems, museum publishing practices, e-book market evolution, and Baltic literary exchanges. She serves on editorial boards of Knygotyra and National Library of Latvia proceedings.
