Aidan Hogg is an Assistant Professor/Lecturer in Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) and an Honorary Research Associate at Imperial College London. His primary affiliation is with the Centre for Digital Music (C4DM) and the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at QMUL. He co-leads the Virtual, Immersive, Augmented and Binaural Audio Lab (VIABAL).
Education: PhD and MEng from Imperial College London, specializing in engineering and computer science disciplines. His research focuses on deep learning for spatial acoustics, immersive audio, and statistical signal processing with applications to speech and audio systems. Key areas include HRTF upsampling, speaker diarization, and acoustic localization.
