Aida de Jesus Correia Simões

Aida de Jesus Correia Simões is an Assistant Professor at the Egas Moniz Higher School of Health within the Egas Moniz Higher Education Cooperative in Portugal. She is an integrated member of the CiiEM research center and holds a PhD in Nursing Sciences from the Catholic University of Portugal (2021). Her academic career includes roles as Adjunct Professor (2004-2020) and Assistant Professor (2021–present) in polytechnic and higher education.

Current projects include studying the psychological impact of the pandemic on educators and students, and evaluating caregivers’ risk indicators for children in protective services. She has authored/co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed articles and conference proceedings.
