Prof. Dr. Ahmet Köç is a faculty member at Akdeniz University, currently serving as Professor in the Department of Turkish and Social Sciences Education within the Faculty of Education. He previously held academic positions at Balıkesir University (2014-2018 as Associate Professor, 2010-2014 as Assistant Professor) and was a Research Assistant at Hacettepe University (2000-2009) and Balıkesir University (1997-2000).

Academic Leadership: He served as Research Institute Director at Akdeniz University's Atatürk's Principles and Revolution History Application and Research Center (2018-2021) and as Head of Department at Balıkesir University (2014-2018).
