Assistant Professor Ahmet CILEK is affiliated with the Faculty of Architecture at Cukurova University, Turkey, where he serves in the Department of Landscape Architecture since 2020. He earned his PhD in Landscape Architecture (2013-2017) and Master’s (2010-2013) from the same university, with research focusing on environmental modeling, remote sensing, and GIS applications in landscape planning.
His research interests integrate geospatial technologies with ecosystem services and climate change adaptation. Key areas include urban thermal comfort, tree canopy modeling, and agricultural sustainability. Recent work explores MaxEnt for renewable energy planning and 3D landscape metrics in hot-arid environments.
