Dr. Ahmed Eldyasti is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at York University's Lassonde School of Engineering. He holds a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Western University (2013), an M.Sc. from the Arab Academy for Science & Technology (2006), and a B.Sc. in Construction & Building Engineering (2002). His research focuses on advanced wastewater treatment technologies, including biofilm-based systems, waste-to-energy processes, and nutrient recovery.

His work emphasizes sustainable engineering solutions, including innovative reactor designs and data-driven modeling approaches. He has also been recognized with awards such as the Ontario Graduate Scholarship and Julie Lassonde Scholarship for Green Technologies.
