Dr. Ahmed Abdalla is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Louisiana State University (LSU), affiliated with the Center for Geoinformatics. He holds a PhD in Surveying from the University of Otago, New Zealand, and has held academic positions at institutions in Sudan, Germany, and Sweden. His research focuses on geodesy, geoinformatics, and remote sensing applications in environmental monitoring, with specialties in geoid modeling, land subsidence analysis, and gravity field studies. He has extensive experience in GNSS, InSAR, and satellite gravimetry technologies.
