Dr. Ahmad Javaid is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Toledo, College of Engineering. He holds a B.Tech. (Hons.) from Aligarh Muslim University (2008) and a Ph.D. from the University of Toledo (2015), where he received the prestigious University Fellowship Award. Previously, he served as a Scientist Fellow at the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. His research focuses on cybersecurity of drone networks, human-machine teaming, AI-driven cyber attack detection, and multi-modal data fusion. He directs the Paul A. Hotmer Cybersecurity and Teaming Research (CSTAR) lab and has secured over $9.7M in research funding from NSF, AFRL, NASA-JPL, and others. His work includes 85+ peer-reviewed publications and contributions to cybersecurity education through interactive learning modules.
