Ahmad Issam Hamad Abdel Hadi

Dr. Ahmad Issam Hamad Abdel Hadi is a Research Associate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Assistant Director of the Hydro Turbine/Industrial Assessment Center at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UWM (2023) and a BS from Al-Balqa' Applied University (2013). His research focuses on hydro power systems, energy auditing, heat transfer optimization, fluid mechanics, and solar energy applications, particularly in wastewater treatment and industrial systems.

His work emphasizes sustainable energy solutions for industrial processes, including energy recovery from wastewater treatment aeration basins and photovoltaic integration. He has received prestigious awards from the U.S. Department of Energy for innovative research in applied energy engineering. Abdel Hadi also brings five years of industrial experience in HVAC systems and water management, complementing his academic research activities.
