Agnar Sandmo was a distinguished Professor of Economics at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) from 1971 until his passing in 2019. He held significant roles including Vice-Rector (1985-1987) and served as President of the European Economic Association (1990). His research focused on public economics, environmental economics, and economics of uncertainty.
