Agata Wiktoria Ziętek

Professor Agata Ziętek is affiliated with Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin, Poland, where she serves as Director of the Doctoral School of Social Sciences since 2019. She holds a professorship in the Department of International Political Relations within the Institute of Political Science and Public Administration at UMCS's Faculty of Political Science and Journalism.

Research Interests focus on Indo-Pacific strategic dynamics, East Asian security, soft power, public diplomacy, and cultural dimensions in international relations. Her work examines the South China Sea disputes, ASEAN-China cooperation, and multicultural challenges in Europe.

Scientific Activity includes leadership roles in international research organizations: President of the International Research Foundation Board (2009-present), President of Lublin Brand of Polish Society of International Studies (2012-present), and member of European International Studies Association (2013-present).
