Dr. Agata Pyrzyńska is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Szczecin (Poland). Her primary research areas include electoral law, constitutional law, human rights protection, and administrative law, with a focus on Polish electoral law mechanisms such as electoral administration and legal foundations of elections. She holds a PhD in Law from the Nicolaus Copernicus University (2017), where her dissertation addressed the supervisory role of Poland's National Electoral Commission.
At the University of Szczecin, she teaches administrative law, constitutional law, electoral law, and European administrative law. She actively contributes to academic governance through roles including membership in the Scientific Council of the Faculty, the Research Team 'Protection of Human Rights in the Polish Legal System,' and the Polish Society of Constitutional Law. She also serves as a thematic editor for the journal Acta Iuris Stetinensis and academic supervisor of the Vox Populi Electoral Law Student Club.
Her research publications analyze topics like electoral finance, legal reforms in voting systems, pandemic-era election management, and cross-border voting mechanisms. In 2020, she received the Rector’s Award for scientific achievements. Dr. Pyrzyńska has participated in numerous international conferences and collaborates on initiatives promoting democratic processes and legal education, including the Street Law 2.0 program for high school outreach.
