Adwoa Ayensu is a Senior Lecturer in Primary Health Care/Community Nursing at Kingston University's School of Nursing, Allied and Public Health. As a registered nurse and Specialist Community Public Health Nurse with 18 years of community experience, she focuses on vulnerable populations, health promotion, and safeguarding. Ayensu holds an MA in Health Promotion and Health Education, a PGCE in Practice Education, and specialized training in family planning.
Her teaching centers on primary healthcare delivery, community nursing practices, and sexual health education. Ayensu developed expertise mentoring students through her role as a health visitor practice educator.
