Adrienne Cressman

Dr. Adrienne Cressman is the Chair of the Business Department at Southwestern Christian University, a role she has held since 2016. She joined the university as an adjunct faculty member in 2013 and transitioned to full-time faculty in 2016. Her academic background includes a J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma, along with a B.B.A. from the same institution.

Her teaching and research specialties focus on Marketing, Business Law, and American Government. She has taught courses such as Personal Finance, Business Law, American Government, Leadership for Nonprofit Corporations, Western Civilizations 1, Principles of Marketing, Legal Aspects of Sports, and Sports Marketing.

Dr. Cressman is affiliated with the Oklahoma Bar Association and the National Business Education Association. She is based in office LLC 251 and holds office hours on MW 8-9 a.m., 2-3:30 p.m., and TTH 8-10:30 a.m. Her professional philosophy is guided by her favorite Bible verse, Romans 12:1-2.

Outside academia, her personal interests include family, participation in St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, and supporting OU Football.
