Dr. Adrien Chauvet is a Senior Lecturer in Physical Chemistry at the University of Sheffield's School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences. His research bridges ultrafast time-resolved spectroscopy with applications in renewable energy, agriculture, and healthcare. He actively collaborates across Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering departments and leads the Burhan Institute of Research, focusing on the intersection of Science and Religion.
- Education: BSc in Material Sciences (Strasbourg, 2005), Master (2008), and PhD (2012) in Biophysics from Purdue University.
- Research Interests: Ultrafast spectroscopy for material characterization, green hydrogen catalysts, soil-health sensors, greenhouse gas reduction strategies, artificial photosynthesis, antibacterial materials, and anti-cancer drug development.
