Adrianne Evans is an Associate Lecturer in the School of Education at Curtin University, affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities. She specializes in Professional Experience and Technologies education. Her current roles include Unit Coordinator for EDP210, EDP2014, EDP320, and MTS500, as well as Tutor for MTPS504. She coordinates the PracXis Project: A Digital Resources Hub.
Education qualifications include a Masters in International Schools in Education-Leadership, PostGradCert in International Education in Schools, and GradDipEd (Secondary).
Research interests focus on online secondary education methodologies, Media Arts/Digital Technologies curriculum development, neurodivergence support strategies in education, and policy analysis related to educational leadership structures. She actively contributes to professional development through workshops and conference presentations.
Prior to Curtin, she accumulated 19 years of secondary teaching experience across Catholic, independent, and government schools, serving as Head of Learning Area-Arts and Assistant MYP Coordinator. Professional affiliations include Western Australian Institute for Educational Research (WAIER), Australian Teachers of Media WA (ATOMWA), and English Teachers Association of WA (ETAWA).
Award-winning educator recognized for unit coordination excellence (2024). Her work with the School Curriculum and Standards Authority includes ATAR examination development, WACE marking, syllabus audits, and curriculum reviews.
