Adrianna Shembel

Adrianna Shembel is a Research Fellow affiliated with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She holds a Doctorate of Philosophy and Master of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh, a Bachelor of Science from The Pennsylvania State University, and completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at New York University School of Medicine.

Her research focuses on voice-related disorders and biomechanics, including studies on occupational voice users, vocal demand challenges, laryngeal muscle physiology, and exercise-induced vocal fold dysfunction. Her work integrates clinical and physiological approaches to understand vocal subsystem biomechanics and improve treatment outcomes for voice disorders.
